CHILE TE NECESITA

posted May 28, 2009 5:47 PM by Miguel Escobar

Necesitamos levantar ayuda economica.

Bendiciones

Meetings every night this week at 7:00pm with Miguel Escobar in Wilmington,NC.

It is 4:25am.  I have been awake since about 3:00am.  I woke up with my mind racing, replaying the second meeting of this week’s services that took place a few hours ago.

I don’t know when I have been in a meeting where the presence of God was so sweet and yet so powerful.  And the unity of the Spirit that was evident among those present; awesome and incredible.  That kind of unity cannot be produced by man.  Only the Spirit of God can do that.  It was intimate bliss.  Intimacy on a new level.  Not only intimacy between the Father/Son/Holy Spirit and those present but intimacy between those present.  A spiritual union beyond description.

As the worship began I started with the same songs I had used the night before but it seemed as if we were singing a new song; a love song never heard before to our beloved.  We sang as one voice, one in the Spirit to our elder brother Jesus, the King of kings and Lord of lords; and to our Father, the essence of love and me rcy, the Almighty Creator of all things.

A prophetic word came forth straight from the heart of Father, saying he required all of us and that he was pleased with our worship, admonishing us to continue in worship, which we did.

Not wanting to stop the flow of the Spirit in the room, I turned the meeting over to Miguel, putting off the offering and announcements until the end of the meeting.  The theme of Miguel’s message picked up where he had left off the night before.  We are chosen ones and we all have a part to play in bringing the Kingdom of God on earth.  He encouraged us with many humorous stories from his pers onal experience as he has traveled to many nations proclaiming the goodness and manifesting the glory of God.

As Miguel ministered the Word to us mixed with his personal testimony, the sweetness and power of God’s presence we experienced during the worship grew into tremendous joy and we laughed much.  It certainly wasn’t church as usual, which Miguel said several times.  We were having so much fun.  Glory to God!

When Miguel finished his message, instead of ministering as he usually does, he turned the meeting back over to me.  We sang a few more choruses of “Alleluia” and then began to pra y for one another, demonstrating what Miguel had taught.

We ended the meeting around 9:00 but everyone just sat in their seats.  I looked at Miguel and said, “I don’t think they want to go home.”  Miguel then called a lady on the front row up to tell us a little about herself.  What an incredible testimony to the love and mercy of God we heard.  Then another came up and another.  During about the third or forth amazing testimony we were hearing, I looked at Miguel and just shook my head with tears in my eyes.  This meeting certainly wasn’t about the two of us.  It was all about our Jesus and the wonderful things he has done.  Hallelujah!  I made the comment, "This is why Miguel and I do this.  This is our reward."

We ended the meeting again but people continued to stand around and visit for awhile.  Finally, after everyone had left, I cut out the lights, set the alarm, locked the door and left the building.  I quietly said, “Thank you Father.”  I know angels are waiting there for us to come back tonight and take up where we left off last night.  I can hardly wait.

Stay in the blessing,
Lanny Swaim

Meetings every night this week through Saturday at 7:00pm with Miguel Escobar in Wilmington,NC.

It is 12:30am.  I just got home from Wilmington after tonight’s meeting.  What an incredible night.  I know I won’t be able to sleep for awhile so I am writing this report before going to bed.

We started the meeting with testimonies and words of encouragement from individuals that have already attended some of the meetings this week.  Then we heard from John Boone of Save Our Kids Outreach and Ricky Leonard of Ricky Leonard Ministries.  I read a couple of scriptures before we began to worship.  I don’t think I have ever experienced God’s presence any stronger as I led the “standing room only crowd” in worship choruses.

As the time of worship ended the Spirit gave me a prophetic song that ended as a spoken word.  It was a beautiful and encouraging message of love from Father.  After I shared a recitation and song I frequently do entitled, “The Outlaw/Finally” Vicki Blacet presented a drama portraying Rebecca when she met Isaac at the well, which continued and confirmed the love theme the Holy Spirit was communicating to us.

Miguel came to the front to minister but first asked Annie George, pastor of Miracle Rock Ministries to come up and share.  We have had several pastors and ministries in attendance at these meetings.

I don’t think I have ever heard Miguel deliver a better message.  He kept us laughing a s he provoked us to revival.  As people began coming forth for prayer at the end we had to move the first row of chairs to make room for all the bodies on the floor.  Many were touched by the power of God including healing s and much holy laughter.  At one point Miguel had gold dust on his face.  Even after some had left others stayed basking in the presence of God and fellowship together.

Certainly tonight was one of those “times of refreshing that come from the presence of the Lord,” spoken of by Peter in Acts 3:19.  Once again, I can hardly wait for tomorrow night.  All glory to God!

Be richly blessed, inspired, excited and motivated to seek an awakening in His Body in USA and in the world.

A Revival Note

posted May 11, 2009 2:04 PM by Miguel Escobar

Revival to the Nations

The word “Revival” is hope for those believers who follow closely the steps of the Master. Several times Jesus emphasized the promise of the Holy Spirit to those who would follow Him. The description of this event in the Acts of the Apostles is a call to faith at the highest level.

“Revival” has become a common word in the secular world and in our daily life. They describe “revival” as something being renovated with more power and more life.

It was in the 1700’s when new leaders changed the common way of doing church. They proclaimed a different truth, shared new revelations or enlightment of the Word of God. By doing that, however, they also paid the price for confronting the existent ecclesiastical structures of the time, a rather primitive form of doing church.

Great Britain witnessed the birth of the Wesleys and so many others who designed new models for the spreading of the Gospel. Those who followed were witnessed of indescribable renewal movements in India, Africa, Europe and Latin America. This renewal explosion has not been extinguished but laid dormant in the Pentecostal movement. This renewal movement will soon be awaken with power and glory.

The Bible describes the first revival as what happened in the Tabernacle in Exodus 40:34-38. The Lord then visited his people in a way never experienced before. The Lord also manifested His ‘shekinah’ divine glory in the Temple as described in 2 Chronicles 5:13 and 7:1-3, at that moment the priests were unable to withstand His presence and fell to the ground.

Another manifestation took place in the New Testament at the time of the Pentecost. Acts 2 describes the coming of the Holy Spirit as in a strong wind and tongues of fire that stood on each participant. One hundred and twenty people, representing seventeen cultures, received this promise in a new way as they publicly spoke in different tongues.

There is a new moment of revival coming to the Earth. This is a Grace Revival.

God is always doing new and different things, which have never seen before. The manifold grace of God takes many forms and shapes. This is the hope of today’s Church. His people will see an extraordinary manifestation of God, which will impact all Nations.

Why does the Church need a Revival or New Awakening?

The original mandate of Christ to His disciples has not changed. His Word explains in the Gospels that it is our mission to go and save those who are lost, to heal the sick and deliver those who are being oppressed by the enemy. Our mission is to provide spiritual ‘first-aid’ such as the work performed by the paramedics or emergency technicians. Once first aid is administered, then the patient is referred to the medical doctor who would heal him/her.

The Church should provide this first aid to those who are afflicted, sick, or destitute, and to take them to the hands of the Healer. The world is lost and this should be reason enough to promote revival in the nations. No human effort can change the World but the power of God. He only is able to influence nations and cultures.

Statistics show a great work yet to be done. The Church has done a great work, but has fallen short of what is actually required. The coming of the Lord is near and the Church will soon receive a new revival to complete her task.

John 3:16 speaks of the whole world. As I walk in different congregations, I have witnessed of a deteriorated image of the Body of Christ. Instead of trusting His Word, we follow our own understanding and we lack a true understanding of God’s revelation. I have traveled the world seven times and visited countless churches. I have concluded the following:

1. Time: it’s the most important factor as we seek the Lord. Give God all the time He wants to spend with you. There are many factors that break this intimacy with God. Church services are strictly controlled by a time schedule, becoming a wall of rejection to the filling of the Holy Spirit. The Korean church is an exception. They do not limit God by time. They are running ahead of other congregations and have become a model to follow. The same with the Chinese church, they seek sincerely and devote a lot of time to meet with the Creator.

Unfortunately we want to impose our time and understanding to God. However, Isaiah expressed it very clearly; God’s thoughts are not our thought nor His time is our time. We should be prepared physically and mentally to spend time with God. As David also declared it, his desire was to spend his time in the House of the Lord.

The congregations in the ‘developed’ world are restricting their time with God. Very sadly I can say that when they are leaving, God is appearing. The Lord requires we spend much time with Him.

2. Praise and Worship: miracle after miracle is constantly taken place in the African church. Needless to say, this is a church that constantly praise and worship the Lord, everywhere. They have developed the true art of adoration and praise. Their whole body becomes an instrument of praise as declared by Psalm 150. The African church is experiencing an explosive growth alongside with Asia.

Revelation 4 speaks of a divine scene where thousands of voices together praise the Lord day and night. This is a phenomenon of the Latin congregation; their freedom to express adoration all the time. The apostle Paul teaches about giving God thanks in good and bad times, in sickness or in health, in richness or poverty. Then and only then we could experience a true revival around the Earth.

3. Praying for one another: The book of Hebrews speaks of faith and also praying for one another, the laying of hands by faith. This is a challenge to achieve revival. We want to see the hand of God in action. The unbeliever wants to see the power of God in action, in the market, on the streets. This is the reality of the Chilean church, and African church and the Asian church. We need to take the Gospel outside of the four walls. We need to get out and seek those who are lost.

We would achieve a great movement of God when the believers get out on the street to proclaim the name of Christ and by faith, heal the sick on the streets, jails, hospitals, the market, etc. We should seek a passion for the unchurched and a strong desire to take them off of Satan’s hands. This is a challenge of our faith and to believe God to do the impossible because the prayer of the righteous avails much!

True revival begins in you, the life of the believer who individually lets the fire of the Holy Spirit permeate his or her life and their surrounding.

The Lord has impressed in my heart that I will see the awakening of the church around the world. I always believed there would be another Revival. So far history has witnessed four different revivals, there is one more to come – just like there are 5 continents, there would be 5 revivals: a Revival of Grace.

As with the fishermen in the time of Jesus, they obeyed the Master and threw their nets. We also need to believe the Lord and go out soul fishing! We are called to be fishers of men.

Missionary Trip to Germany

posted May 5, 2009 9:12 AM by Miguel Escobar   [ updated May 5, 2009 9:10 AM ]

On my way to Germany I had a few bumps on the road. I arrived at Dulles Airport to take my connection flight to London and the line of people was enormous. I patiently waited my turn for over an hour and my patience paid off because as soon as I got to the gate, the airline personnel directed me to the executive class! Needless to say I felt like a kid with a new toy. It was a relaxing trip, reading and watching different programs. One of the programs got my attention, it was about the Nazi invasion and the abuse against the Jewish people. It made me think about the coming of the Antichrist, promising peace and solutions to worldwide problems.

This missionary trip originated in the heart of a German youth group. They had a strong desire to see Germany touched and blessed by God. We had exchanged emails and started communicating a while back. Their insistence moved me and we scheduled this trip. I wanted to speak to them about a Spirit-filled lifestyle if they really desired to see Germany experience a revival. What would their reaction be? Would they accept this message? Would they yield to the prompt of the Holy Spirit? These and other questions kept roaming in my mind...

The visit was sponsored by Dr. Wilfried and his wife, Anne. They are directors of the Healing Center, which is affiliated with Healing Room based in Spokene, Washington State.

From Munich I traveled to Augsburg, Germany - an ancestral town filled with history and beautiful buildings. The first night was challenging. Nobody knew me so the congregation was a little bit resistant to the message. The service went on and God blessed us all. The youth heard the message about faith in Christ and were ready to start the conference.

The next day at the healing center, we started teaching about inner healing and over 20 people came with different problems and situations. Sometimes we can't grasp the complexity of each and every situation and are left with the need of trusting God even more. I taught about leaning on God and withdrawing strength from the Holy Spirit. The anointing of God was evident in that place and several healing took place. People received a double message: to receive their healing so then they could go and heal others.

Later on we started the church conference. I was rather surprised to see all the people that came and filled the church. I need to remind you that we were doing this conference during Easter weekend. People from all path of life came that day: young people, believers, nonbelievers, church leaders from nearby towns, etc. Dr. Wilfriend was very pleased to see such a beautiful congregation.

We were very blessed by the wonderful praise and worship. The young musicians were incredible. We had three different groups of musicians and they all led us in a time of adoration of our God. I was very moved by so much talent within the young generation in Germany.

More than 60 young people came that day to hear the message. Many of them raised their hands to receive Jesus as their personal Savior. In the midst of Christian rap and some other upbeat lyrics, they experienced a true encounter with their Creator. I feel blessed and honor to witness the movement of the Holy Spirit in EVERY generation.

At the end of the service, one Muslim young lady came up for prayer. The Lord touched her and she came down to the floor. She did not know what was happening with her, she seemed scared but youth comforted her. She said she was Muslim but now she wanted Jesus in her heart; that day she left a totally changed person.

Every day more people came to the meetings.

We need to be careful not to judge people by their appearances or lifestyle, pretending to know all spiritual truth and not leaving room for God to touch them. Some young people might look rebellious because they don't fit in our "Christian" mentality or preconceived ideas.

Everyday I had a group of young people following me everywhere I went. They wanted to have more of God, to hear about miracles and testimonies. They were hungry for God and wanted to be sent to the Nations.

I have been to Europe many times before but I had not experienced such openness for revival like I did this time. It was a very pleasant surprise. I went to East Germany and was blessed by a Lutheran congregation.  Young people are willing to give up their ambitions for the cause of the Gospel. I want to recruit at least 100 young people who want to be equipped and sent by the Holy Spirit to touch their nation and the World.

At the end of this visit, I witnessed miracles, baptisms in the Holy Spirit, new conversions, and a network of people with a strong desire to impact their world. The Lord is being exalted and magnified in the midst of German young people.

EXPERIENCING GOD AS I DO MISSIONS FOR JESUS

I TRAVELED MANY HOURS FROM MY HOME IN WINCHESTER UNTILL I DID ARRIVE IN THE CAPITAL OF PANAMA. MY FRIEND BETTY,WAITED FOR ME LONGER HOURS AS I WAS DELAYED AT THE AIRPORT IN WASHINGTON DULLES. I WAS EXCITED TO BE SENT BY THE LORD TO PANAMA TO DO MISSIONS IN THE NAME OF JESUS. WE ARRIVE IN THE CAPITAL, RESTED FOR 4 DAYS THEN WE WENT TO WORK TO THE PROVIDENCE OF DAVID, CHIRIQUI, BOQUETE.

ONE OF THE GREATEST ENCOUNTER THAT I HAD WITH GOD'S PEOPLE WAS IN DAVID CHIRIQUI. A NICE VILLAGE THAT WAS EXPERIENCING HOT WEATHER AND HIGH HUMIDITY. I AM NOT USE TO IT BUT, FOR HIS CAUSE I WAS WILLING TO OBEY AND DO THE WORK OF AN EVANGELIST.HERE, THERE LORD, PERMITED ME EVANGELIZE. PREACHING THE GOOD NEWS

TO PASTORS,LEADERS ,WOMEN,REACTIVATING THE FAITH OF CHRIST INTO THEIR LIVES,GIVING THEM WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT, TO TAKE THE POSITION,AUTHORITY, THAT CRIST GIVEN TO THEM. THESE HAPPENED TROUGH OUR SHARING IN THESE PROVINCE LOCATED ABOUT 10 HOURS BY BUS FROM THE CAPITAL,WHERE I HAD THE JOY TO SEE PEOPLE SAVED, DELIVERED AND RESTORED.

MANY NEVER HAVE RECEIVED A WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT OR A WORD OF LOVE FROM THE LORD. PEOPLE IN THAT REGION FIGHT DAILY AGAINST THE WORK OF THE DEVIL, SINCE THEIR DESCENDENTS ARE FROM HAITI, THERE IS A LOT OF WITCH CRAFT, OCCULT AND TOO MANY DECEPTIONS ARE PART OF THEIR DAILY LIFE.

I FELT THE HEAVINESS OF DEMONIC FORCES, BUT,THE LORD GAVE ME AS MY FRIENDS THAT ACCOMPANIED ME, HE GAVES US THE VICTORY IN JESUS CHIST!.

THE LORD HAS CONNECTED ME WITH VERY SPECIAL PEOPLE. I LIKE TO MENTIONED BETTY MOODIE,FROM BOCAS DEL TORRO HER FAMILY, NINA, CHARLOTTA EDWARDS. PASTORAL FAMILY In THE CITY OF PANAMA, CELSO AND LEORFA HERNANDEZ, SISTER,BARBARA, BROTHER RUBEN DIAZ, RUBEN PAZ, PASTORAL FAMILY FROM CHIRIQUI VICTOR, ELVIRA BONIFATTI, HER CHILDREN . KATIA CORDOBA, BOCAS DEL TORRO , PASTORS CYPRE AND GISELA POLO, ASLSO FROM THE CITY OF PANAMA,ALSO, AIDABETH FROM THE CITY OF PANAMA.

THEY TREATED ME VERY WELL. I HAD ALL THE SUPPORT THAT I NEEDED. I TRAVEL WITH GREAT ENTHUSIASM AND VIGOR WITH THE HELP OF BETTY AND.IT HAS BEEN VERY SPECIAL, ESPECIALY OUR FRIENSHIP. I STAY IN THE HOUSE OF PASTORS CELSO AND LEORFA HERNANDEZ IN THE CITY OF PANAMA AND IN THE HOUSE OF PASTORS VICTOR AND ELVIRA BONIFATTI

THE PASTORS THAT HOSTED ME IN THEIR CHURCH WERE BOQUETE PASTORS GOERGE AND EDIT THEY ARE THE ONES THAT ARE PREPARING THE GATHERING OF PASTORES AND LEADERS FROM DIFFERENT CHURCHES FOR FEBRUARY 2009.

I VISITED A HOSPITAL WERE I WAS TO SEE A RELATIVE OF A CHURCH MEMBER BUT AFTER I GOT INSIDE I ENDED UP PRAYING FOR MANY THAT WERE SICK IN THE HOSPITAL. A LADY WAS CURED OF LEUKEMIA AND PERHAPS BY FAITH OTHERS WERE HEALED AND I WILL KNOW LATER. FAITH IS THE KEY TO ALL THINGS IN HIS KINGDOM.

A YOUNG LADY WAS DELIVERED OF A DEMONIC POSESSION. PRAYING FOR HER BROUGHT ME JOY AS I SAW THE ENEMY VERY UPSET WITH ME BUT I KNOW WSHY. JESUS IS IN ME AND I HAVE ALL OF HIS AUTHORITY TO REBUKED DEMONS AND SET PEOPLE FREE IN THE NAME OF JESUS. THIS YOUNG LADY WAS EXCITED AND BLESSED. AND OF COURSE A GREAT FRIEND IN THE LORD.

I PRAY FOR A VERY INDIGENOUS LADY AFFECTED BY WITHCRAFT. WE REBUKED THE DEVIL ,AND WE PRAY FOR HER SALVATION. WHILE SHE WAS IN THE HOSPITAL SHE NEVER RECOVER AND LATER ON SHE DIED BUT IN MY HEART I HAD HIS CONVICTION THAT SHE WENT HOME SAVED. GOD REVEALS HIS MIGHTY POWER AND HIS DEEDS TO HIS PEOPLE. I KNOW THAT I DID NOT PRAY IN VAIN. PRAYERS ARE ALWAYS ANSWER BY GOD.

ONE OF MY DEAR FRIENDS IN PANAMA , HAD THE JOY OF SEEING HER FAMILY ACCEPTING JESUS AFTER I LEFT PANAMA. WE TALK ALL THE TIME ABOUT JESUS AND THE END RESULT WAS SALVATION. PRAISE GOD!

WE WORK ALL DAYS DURING TWO WEEKS, I DID HAVE A FEW DAYS FOR REST. I PRAY FOR MANY AS I COULD. I PREACH FROM THE PULPILT MORE THAN ONE TIME AND I HELD SEMINARS FOR YOUNGER PEOPLE AND WOMEN, THE DAUGHTERS AND SONS OF PASTORS AND LEADERS. THE NEEDS ARE GREAT. PEOPLE NEED TO BE BUILD UP IN CHRIST,WHICH IN MY SURPRISE, HE USED ME FOR HIS GLORY, FOR THIS PORPUSE. THEY WERE SO TOUCHED, THAT THEY INVITED ME BACK FOR THE YEAR 2009 AND PROMISING TO GATHER MORE PEOPLE AND BRING MORE LEADERS TO THE MEETINGS.

I AM A NEW EVANGELIST. MANY TIMES I FEEL SO WEAK , BUT,JESUS IS MY EVERYTHING AND QUICKLY HE COMES IN MY ASSISTANCE. I And THANKFULL OF GOD AND OF HIS PEOPLE.

BEFORE I WENT TO PANAMA , MY FATHER PREACH IN NORTH CAROLINA AND IN GEORGIA. IN BOTH CASES PEOPLE RESPONDED WITH GENEROSITY TO MY TRIP. I SOLD MY FATHER PERSONAL BOOKS AND WE RAISED MONEY FOR THE MISSION BUT ALSO SOME SELECTED PEOPLE GAVE ME A DONATION FROM THEIR HEART THAT WAS SO VALUABLE AND APPRECIATED BY ME AND MY PARENTS.

THE INDONESIAN FAMILY BLESSED ME IN ATLANTA,GA. FRIENDS IN WILMINGTON DID THE SAME.

AS A SUMMARY MY TRIP WAS CORONATED WITH SOULS SAVED, PEOPLE HEALED AND PEOPLE DELIVERE
D. THE CALL IS TO SAVED ONE AT A TIME AND BUILD ONE AT A TIME FOR HIS KINGDOM GLORY.

THANKS AND BLESSINGS.

We spend near seven weeks preaching in many States the word of God with great joy we report about the goodness of God. We sail toward Greenville, NC and we met a group of Pastors interested in unity and seeking further relationship with God. The idea is to use at it’s best the Gifts of the Spirit and visualize signs, miracles, wonders and healings.

We had the testimonies of people like Ken healed of a very serious desisea in his bone structure. His wife Diane also got healed of some that looked like cancer. Later on we met Brother Pate whom God finally released him from a Nursery after a blow in His heart that put him in the list of the difficult cases for healing.

Mary from Canada ,flew to join us in North Carolina. She had something like breast lumps and they were cancel by the power of God. During servcies many claim healings and freedom froem attacks from Satan.

We celebrated fantastic services in Wilmington. Pastor Anne it is a first class Prophet and she always gave us full freedom in her services. Miracles took place all night long. The anointing was quite strong and people got healed and delivered.

From Wilmington were we celebrated a serie of services , including 3 days of glory with Lanny Swaim, we went to Atlanta Georgia to work among the Indonesians. What a joy was to work with such great people. They are in love with Christ. Pastor Victor and Arif always make the great difference as servants of the most high God.

KINSTON was a great place to stay as we were given a Prophets chamber to stay. Ministry was outstanding.

Then we went to Gattysburg. A great historical site . Tourist from all over the world come to see what once was a field of confrontations and war scenarios. We preached per invitation two nights but we were asked to saty for a third night. From Pennsylvania we went to Hamilton,Virginia to celebrate two great days of revival with Pastor Campbell. Great church of God.

As we travel we see His hands always covering us and leading the way.

Of course He is the Way.

People are seeking a true revival. We are trying to discover the roots of revival. Trying to understand revival. Pass the revival flame.

If you see any thing that emulates revival share with us.
